The Whitworth Art Gallery, part of the University of Manchester, recently acquired about 20 examples of a range of Georgina von Etzdorf Archive pieces. They were keen to collect a wide variety of techniques from classic hand, flat bed silkscreen prints, through digital prints via embroidery, applique, patchwork, stitch, recycled and found objects. The pieces will be available to view later this year. For more details contact martin@gve.co.uk or visit www.whitworth.manchester.ac.uk.

  1. Georgina, It was super to meet you yesterday with your friends. I do hope we'll see you again soon at Dairy House, and that we can progress our mutual textile-related interests. Best wishes, Sue
